Workshops

Interactive sessions exploring language, identity, and power in practice.

My workshops create spaces to explore, question, and rethink language as a system of power, identity, and possibility. Combining theory, reflection, and dialogue, these sessions invite participants to move beyond passive understanding into active engagement.

It shapes how we see the world—and how we relate to one another.

Language is not neutral.

Rethinking Language. Expanding Perspective. Practicing Awareness.

Each workshop is designed as an interactive and reflective experience.

Participants are invited to:

examine how language structures perception and belonging

engage with concepts of coloniality, multilingualism, and identity

reflect on their own linguistic practices and assumptionn

participate in open dialogue and shared inquiry

Rather than delivering fixed answers, the workshops focus on developing awareness, critical thinking, and new perspectives.

Workshops can be tailored, but often explore:

The Coloniality of Language

How historical power structures shape contemporary communication

Language & Identity

The fluid relationship between language, self, and belonging

Multilingualism & Power

Challenging the myth of the “native speaker”

Memory, Narrative & Language

How stories are constructed, preserved, and excluded

Decolonial Thinking in Practice

Moving from theory into everyday awareness and action

The workshops are guided by a commitment to:

critical reflection
over simplification

listening
over fixed authority

dialogue
over one-directional teaching

As a facilitator, I approach this work with an awareness of my own positionality and the understanding that learning is a shared, ongoing process.
